At Lakewood Park, we seek to create an unforgettable elementary experience for every student, Pre-k through 6th grade. We do so through extracurriculars such as athletics. At the fifth and sixth grade level, we offer girls and boys soccer, girls volleyball and girls and boys basketball. Athletic camps are offered through our athletic department. We also offer a variety of activities to engage all our elementary students’ interests. Such activities include: Junior Achievement; Book-It Reading Incentive Program; Field Day; Grandparents Day; Classroom Parties; National Day of Prayer; Musical Programs; Bible and Reading Buddies; Community Service Projects; Summer Camps; Science Fair; Spell Bowl; and Kindergarten Graduation.

Another special part of elementary student life is the chapel. Chapel is the core of our students’ spiritual development, challenging students with a wide range of speakers and many different experiences throughout the year. During chapel, students are led in worship, instructed in Scripture, and encouraged. Our students also participate in missions, ministry, and service projects to make a positive impact on our community. Classroom teachers often organize service projects for their classes. Our extracurriculars, chapel, and missions all serve to create an unique school experience for our students. Come see what opportunities we have to offer your student!
