Our spring book fair is happening May 7 & 8 from 8am-4-pm!
We have some fun new things planned for this year.
First, we will be having a friendly competition between elementary classes to see who can bring in the most money for our All for Books Dino-Mite Coin Challenge! Each day leading up to the week of the book fair (4/29-5/3) will have a different theme where students can dress up and bring in coins for their class. Not only will all of our classes benefit from the coin drive by receiving books for their classroom libraries, Scholastic will match up to $1 million dollars of the coins raised to buy books for those in need! And of course, the class who raises the most money will receive a party.
The second new element to this year’s book fair is our Lunch with a Loved One. On Wed the 8th, students can invite a parent, older sibling, aunt, grandpa, or another caring adult to join them for lunch and explore the book fair during recess.
If you’re someone who doesn’t often have cash or doesn’t love the idea of sending money to school with your student, we have a new and convenient payment system for you called eWallet. You can create an account for your child and deposit funds into it for them to shop. When the book fair is over, any remaining funds are transferred back to the card on file!
Can’t make it to the book fair? You can order online here.
We’re very much looking forward to our Dino-Mite Book Fair and can’t wait to celebrate a love for reading with your student!
